In locations where it is allowed and safe to take the IELTS exam, the testing is going ahead, with additional precautions and considerations in place to help protect the health of test takers and staff.
In particular, you should not attend your IELTS test if you have been in contact with anybody suspected to have the novel Coronavirus or someone with a cough or fever. Moreover, if you have been exposed to novel coronavirus (COVID-19), or if you are showing signs of the illness, such as being short of breath, you should avoid sitting the exam. Additional restrictions may apply depending on the region where you are taking the test.
